The MB-70 Casement is a pivotal component of the MB-70 system, offering high-performance solutions for creating external architectural enclosures that demand exceptional thermal and sound insulation. Key Features of the MB-70 Casement System:

  1. Structural Depth: The window profiles boast a structural depth of 70 mm for the frame and 79 mm for the casement, resulting in a seamless, single-plane effect from the inside when the window is closed.

  2. Three-Chambered Structure: The profiles adopt a three-chambered design, with the central part serving as an insulation chamber housing thermal breaks measuring 34 mm in width.

  3. Air and Water Tightness: Attain high levels of air and water tightness and excellent thermal insulation through a specially-shaped 2-component central gasket, featuring a cellular isolation element, as well as glazing and edging gaskets.

  4. Continuous Gasket Installation: Most gaskets, including glazing and external edging gaskets, are installed continuously, eliminating the need for corner cutting. Gasket ends meet in the middle of the upper transoms of the window frames. The central gasket can be cut at a 45° angle and glued in the corners or cut at a 90° angle and glued to the rubber corner. A vulcanised frame central gasket is also available, ensuring exceptional resistance to water and air infiltration.

  5. Glazing Thickness: The system accommodates a broad range of glazing thicknesses, from 14.5 to 53.5 mm for the window frame and from 23.5 to 62 mm for the casement. This versatility allows for the installation of various double and triple-glazing units, including acoustic or burglary-resistant options available in the market.

  6. Fittings Compatibility: "Euro" grooves in fittings enable the installation of most available fittings suitable for both outward opening aluminium and PVC windows. Profiles without grooves in the frame are intended for knife hinges.

  7. Hinge Options: The windows based on the system can be equipped with either invisible knife hinges or traditional visible rotating hinges.

  8. Drainage Variants: Profiles can be designed for either invisible or visible drainage, complete with a decorative cap.

  9. Coating and Anodizing: Composite profiles (version K51XXXXX) can undergo powder coating and anodizing processes, ensuring durability and aesthetics.

  10. Construction Compatibility: The system is designed to be compatible with other Aluprof systems, particularly MB-60 and MB-70. This extends to various elements, such as glazing beads, gaskets, fittings, and most accessories, making it easier to interchange components between systems.

  11. Simplified Construction Technology: The construction technology is optimised for simplicity, reducing fabrication time.
