MB-SR50N

Code: AL-MB-SR50N

Optimized for Your Project: The MB-SRN System

The MB-SRN system is meticulously crafted for lightweight curtain walls, suspended or filling-type structures, roofs, skylights, and various spatial applications. Its load-bearing framework comprises vertical (mullions) and horizontal (transoms) aluminum profiles, expertly joined and equipped with sealing and connecting accessories. These profiles boast a uniform width of 50mm on the interior side of the facade. Complementing them, clamping strips support glazing panels, while external masking strips take on diverse shapes to enhance the facade's aesthetics.

Description

Key Features:

Versatile Application: The MB-SRN system can be employed for curtain walls, roofs, skylights, and more, providing structural versatility to suit your project needs.

Seamless Integration: This system seamlessly integrates with other facade and door/window systems offered by ALUPROF S.A., enhancing its compatibility and functionality.

Efficient Joining: Profiles are expertly connected using specially designed connecting members. T-type connecting members facilitate mullion-transom connections, ensuring load transfer between elements. For mullion-mullion connections, mullion connecting members and accompanying accessories guarantee a secure and tight connection.

Optimal Thermal and Sound Insulation: The MB-SRN system employs a proven HPVC insulator, ensuring excellent thermal insulation and proper screw anchoring during facade glazing. This leads to enhanced thermal and sound insulation properties.

Expansion Joints for Durability: Expansion joints are crucial for accommodating horizontal and vertical movements caused by thermal expansion of aluminum profiles and deformations in the building's load-bearing structure. They also address dimensional tolerances and installation inaccuracies.

Efficient Water Drainage and Ventilation: The system features overlapping mullion-transom connections that enable cascade-type drainage and ventilation of glazing molds. Ventilation and drainage holes in clamping and masking strips enhance proper water drainage and facade ventilation. Two drainage and ventilation systems are available: collective for all elements and individual for specific glazing panels or infills.

Secure Glazing: Clamping strips are employed to secure glazing panels and infills to mullions and transoms. External sealing is achieved through two single gaskets made of EPDM or two single EPDM gaskets along with butyl tape. Internal glazing gaskets on mullions and transoms are height-adjustable to accommodate different glazing panel thicknesses.

The MB-SRN system offers a versatile and efficient solution for various architectural applications. Its compatibility with ALUPROF S.A.'s product range ensures a seamless and dependable choice for your next project. For further information and personalized solutions
