MB-78 EI DPA System: Fireproof Partitions with Integrated Sliding Doors

The MB-78 EI DPA system is designed for the creation of partitions featuring integrated automatic single and double sliding doors with fireproof classifications of EI15 or EI30. It builds upon the MB-78EI system of fireproof partitions with integrated doors, utilizing core components like main profiles, glazing beads, cooling inserts, expanding tapes, gaskets, and most accessories.

Description

Key Characteristics of the MB-78 EI DPA System:

  • Profile Depth: The system boasts a profile depth of 78 mm.

  • Three-Chamber Profiles: It is built upon three-chamber aluminum profiles with 34 mm wide thermal spacers.

  • Fire Resistance: Fire-resistant elements are integrated into the internal chambers of the profiles and within the insulating space between the profiles. Additional insulating elements and expanding tapes are applied to external surfaces. The system offers fire resistance classifications of EI15 and EI30 in cases of internal fire exposure.

  • Profile Connections: Fixed partition profiles are connected using "L" type corner joints or "T" type crosswise joints. Leaf profiles are connected crosswise in a "T" configuration.

  • Drive Placement: The drive can be mounted on the system partition or onto masonry.

  • Muntin Bars: There is the option to apply muntin bars attached to the surface of the glass.

  • Construction Technology: The construction fabrication process aligns with that of the MB-78 EI system, ensuring consistency and efficiency.

  • Tooling: The tooling used for the sliding door workings is derived from the MB-78 EI system, streamlining the manufacturing process.

  • Glazing Versatility: A wide range of glazing options supports the installation of standard fire-resistant glass panes with EI15 and EI30 classifications, even when used in glass insulating units.

Please note that any structure created using elements from the MB-78 EI DPA system must comply with the authorization and regulations relevant to the country in which it is installed. Safety and compliance with local codes are of utmost importance.
