MB-Slide and MB-Slide ST Sliding Door Systems for Thermally Insulated Spaces

Our MB-Slide and MB-Slide ST sliding door systems are meticulously engineered to create thermally insulated sliding doors and windows. These versatile systems are ideal for integration into various settings, including brick walls, aluminum facades, winter gardens, or window displays based on the MB-59S or MB-59S Casement elements. By seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor spaces, especially with large dimensions, these sliding doors enhance the sense of spaciousness.

Description

The MB-Slide and MB-Slide ST systems offer a myriad of spatial configuration options, with maximum leaf dimensions of up to H: 2600 mm, L: 1800 mm, and a maximum weight capacity of 160 kg. These systems are available in different construction variants, ranging from 2 to 6 modules, and can accommodate glazing sets up to 26 mm wide. In terms of technical performance, the inclusion of plastic thermal breaks ensures excellent thermal insulation of the aluminum profiles, while sliding brush gaskets and thermoplastic elastomer TPE gaskets, combined with EPDM closing and glazing gaskets, provide exceptional sealing for the structures.

The leaf profiles have a constructional depth of 37 mm (excluding horizontal profiles in the MB-Slide ST) and the frames have depths of 50 mm and 97 mm for double-track and triple-track frames, respectively. The uniform depth of basic double-track frames in the MB-Slide system allows for direct integration with products based on systems like MB-59S, MB-59S Casement, MB-59S Pivot, and MB-59SE. Frames with different depths can be seamlessly connected through a specially reinforced intermediate mullion.

The primary distinction between the MB-Slide and MB-Slide ST systems lies in the construction of leaf profiles and the glazing process. MB-Slide leaf profiles feature a 3-chambered design, mitered at a 45-degree angle, and connected using suitable corner cleats. These corners are then expertly welded, and the frame is glazed, securing the glass panel with glazing strips and gaskets. In the case of MB-Slide ST, the profiles have a single-chamber construction and are connected by screwing vertical and horizontal profiles together with appropriate screws, and glass panel installation occurs during the connection of leaf profiles.

Both sliding door systems offer a high degree of compatibility with other systems manufactured by ALUPROF S.A., making use of common profiles, accessories, and technological processes. Importantly, all components of these sliding door systems meet the stringent standards in place.
