MB-60E EI: Crafting Fire-Resistant Doors and Partitions
The MB-60E EI system empowers the creation of fire-resistant single or double leaf doors for internal or external use. Additionally, it facilitates the fabrication of "technical windows" and fire-resisting partitions. Classified as EI15 or EI30 according to PN-EN 13501-2+A1:2010 standards, the system holds a non-fire spreading (NRO) classification.
This system builds upon the aluminum profiles with a thermal break found in the MB-60E system, featuring a structural profile depth of 60 mm. The incorporation of fire insulation components within the internal chambers of the system profiles ensures the fire resistance of the construction. Intumescent tapes, supplied with the units, play a crucial role in preventing the spread of fire around glazed units.
The MB-60E EI system accommodates a range of common fire-resisting glass, classified as EI15 and EI30, with thicknesses ranging from 5 to 41 mm. Notably, the glass is secured on the inner face using stainless steel glazing strips, a distinctive feature ensuring the glass's integrity during a fire.
